Languedoc-Roussillon Universities (COMUE-LR)
[x_text][icon type= »caret-right »] The 26 COMUE in France (Communauté d’universités et établissements – Community of Universities and Establishments) mainly intend to coordinate training offers and research strategies of public higher education establishments on a given territory.
[icon type= »caret-right »] The Languedoc-Roussillon COMUE enables to gather higher education and research establishments of the region (universities, faculties, large establishments, schools, institutes, general hospitals…). It is essentially a way of promoting competency in terms of research and training in the international scientific competition. Gathering linked establishments stimulates coordination of actions and mutuality of means in many shared projects.

Biology-Living Mechanism Department(Bio-L V)
[x_text][icon type= »caret-right »] A training department is one of the structures that form the Research and Training Units (Unités de formation et de recherche (UFR)), dedicated to teaching more than research.
[icon type= »caret-right »] The Bio-LM department (Biology-Living Mechanism) trains students in all the Biology fields, from biochemistry and molecular biology to physiology and integrative biology, at Bachelor level and Master level.

Multiservice Student Card (Izly)
[x_text][icon type= »caret-right »] Process: Once registered and admitted to University of Montpellier every student receives the Multiservice Student Card. At every reregistration, presenting the card is mandatory for updating data and getting the new registration certificate, after giving the mandatory proofs of entitlement.
[icon type= »caret-right »] Aim: It allows identification (administration, exam, student benefits in some places, etc…), access to the library documentation (borrowing, etc…) and payments for daily little expenses within the campus (university refectory, cafétéria, distributor, etc.).

Digital Work Space (DWS) (Espace Numérique de Travail (ENT))
[x_text][icon type= »caret-right »] Process: Once registered and admitted to University of Montpellier, you can access the DWS. To activate your IT account and DWS, you must use the temporary username and password written on the document given with your Multiservice Student Card. Once the account is activated, you can get connected to the DWS and immediately use all the services.

One of the most useful resources for Biology-Health students is the ‘Science Direct’ platform that enables to access to a very large number of academic publications published by most of the scientific journals. Other journals are also accessible (see the journal list).
[icon type= »angle-right »] Most of the online resources are accessible out of the campus with a mandatory identification when connecting through 2 main access (with the DWS username and password): DWS (ENT), ‘Documentation’ tab or BIU website, ‘s’identifier’ tab.

[icon type= »angle-right »] Most of the University libraries have printers allowing document printing and photocopy. It is a paying and opened-to-everybody service (0.06 € per copy).
